Refinish v. N Laminate Countertops
I need new countertops. I'm not sure if I could get away with just a surface refinish or if I'll need new ones. Laminate only - that's what our budget is.
What would you recommend?
If redoing, who would you recommend?

I haven't failed until I quit.

There are stone refinishing kits available at Home Hardware, Home Depot and I think Rona also carries the product.

I have been in the business for years and I don't have anyone that I could recommend to do that job. Where do you live? PM me.

If you currently have laminate, they sell kits to refinish yourself. I used one about a year ago in an office and it turned out pretty nice. It was a lot of work but you really labor is free, and if you don't mind a project give it a try.
