that inspection report is old. I would think after all of that publicity they have "cleaned" up their act or one would sure hope so

I wouldn't call a 5-month-old inspection report old. The link clearly shows the inspection report is dated Sept 11, 2017. Doesn't seem like they've cleaned up their act if they have a high hazard rating and 4 critical infractions.

Mediterranean Market is definitely the place to go. Illichmans is pretty decent, too.

Sunshine Market. Lots of in house made food to takeaway, imported items from England and South Africa.. friendly staff. Located in the Mission.
Welcome to Kelowna :)

Yeah , great place I agree ..

But with two teenagers with voracious appetites , " Imported items " would bust the bank ....

Back to the yellow labels for us !

If you peel them off carefully you can then place them over their mouths and only feed them on alternating days.

Saves a bundle.

The imported foods and things are great for people who miss their " home" food. English chutney is yummy.
The meals they prepare are worth the coin.. and their breakie wrap fab and cheap. Don't think that the TBones going next door affected SM business at all.
The Oriental Market has some fun foods and sauces etc. Plus great custard buns
Reading this I can see why I can't seem to lose weigh!

sorry to be off topic , but I must comment on the can labels comment :)

when we got married, (we had moved in together a few mths before) one of our friends thought it would be "funny" if they ripped off ALL the labels off our canned goods as a wedding "joke"..

my god, what a nightmare and a huge waste of food !!! ( we were young and poor back then living on love..lol) the person who did it finally told us many yrs later...I told him that if the day ever came that we stayed at his place, I will do the exact same thing to him...and that day came and yes I did it...hahaha and yes that plate of revenge tasted sooooo good :)
