I begrudge no one that has amassed millions in net worth cuz I know that on their way to that position, they employed a lot of people from simple lumber yard forklift drivers to skilled and well paid trades people. They create activity and every dollar they invest gets recycled through the economic engine from employee to grocery store, to car mechanic, to tutoring the kid.
You are all living in some kind of past reality where a good thing was a full time job at the mill and ma worked the packing house line for 6 months and collected UIC for the rest of the year.

This so far from jealousy, my friend. It is completely about lying to people and getting caught in an election. I could care less how much money ANY of them have. I have dignity, something worth a whole lot more than they have in their bank accounts! They're liars, plain and simple. Don't crap on me for bringing it to peoples attention. If you want to get back at me, go out there and vote for the whole lot of them. They can use all the help they can get!

Money does not automatically bestow one with class, honesty, or good taste.

Affluent is, and with good reason, one letter away from effluent.

Just wondering what happened to the people you thought we were so jealous of? Haven't heard hide nor hair from any of them today. But twobits, I'm sure they thank you for your support. You and the 12 guys that also voted for them. Good riddance!!

Oh gawwwdd!

"Kelowna isn't ready to believe they're overtaxed and that there is something to fear about the future when it comes to the pensions that need to be paid down the road. That's my biggest concern for the young generation is the burdens we're leaving them with," says Gran.

That's your biggest concern, eh? That's why you want to build canals through downtown. What a complete imbecile. Just take your silly little group and go away, would you?

Another pearl of wisdom...

"At the end of the day we started with the taxation issue and we ended with the taxation issue."

Oh good, a sandwich metaphor. Well you can take dog crap, stick it between two slices of fine french baguette, but it's still dog crap.

Yes, yes, Carole didn't disappoint, did she? They will never cease to amaze me in the fact that they lashed out at us during the election campaign, and I wished upon a star.......ok, I didn't, but I hoped they would never be elected, and my hope came true!! Now, I was wondering what they had to say. Nothing on their facebook page since Nov 14th, and I wondered. Then, the story came out!! I am actually surprised that Dale didn't add his color commentary as to how he now feels about us constituents. That would make for a very colorful outburst!!
