hell, give them the rope, or a belt or a length of yarn, they can knit a sweater or hang their sorry asses. let them have the right to do what they want. Who cares? It's their right as a canadian, and their right as a human being. Oh... and it would save a lot of money, something I am all for. As long as they are not hurting someone else or costing us more money, who cares?

damn it, stop being so pro life and consider the people that do not give a sh&*t about your views (the criminals in jail, who do not give a damn about you), let them "off" themselves and save all of us a lot of pain and suffering by their demise.

This Senator is just sour grapes. His daughter was murdered, now he wants to deal out some pain.

As a victim of a very serious violent crime, I can safely say this guy needs to let go of that anger.

Revenge doesn't un-murder anyone and this kind of poison just runs your life into the ground (or country as the case may be)

Funny that a Senator can suggest encouraging criminals to kill themselves to save money, and people can pipe in and agree and encourage it - and that gets to stay on this thread, but if I suggest that we should do the same to seniors to save money (as a point of sarcasm) it gets deleted!

Lets make it more personal - you and your family on being victimized by a gunman walking down the line executing people - you wouldn't kill him to protect the lives of your wife, or child, or - for that matter, someone else's mother or child? Again, I ask - what type of self-righteous person could allow that to happen?

Fail. The guy is saying hateful things because he is emotionally damaged by his daughters murder. What he said is something someone that is mentally unstable says. Infact, Mr Harper alluded to that - gave him a free pass and said "...well his daughter..."
