Re: Speeding and going nowhere in the left lane
I was driving home from VJH the other night after visiting my Mom. Driving north on 32nd St toward the traffic light on 25th Ave I was passed by a black SUV in the left lane doing at least 70kph, the driver slamming on the brakes at the last second for the red light. I pulled up beside it and saw there was a woman driver with a small child, maybe 5 or 6 years old, in the back seat. When the light changed, she stomped on the gas and raced up to the next traffic light, once more braking at the last second for the red light. I pulled up beside her again. She repeated the process for each traffic light until she turned off at 43rd Ave. I hope she saw the friendly wave I gave her as she passed me for the fourth time. I guess she showed me who was boss, huh? :dyinglaughing:
I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Tires, brakes, gas mileage, Oh well who gives a ???????? right. Not to mention endangering themselves and everyone around.
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

I don't tailgate, or is my vehicle equipped with driving lights. I'm patient and can wait to safely pass. I also let people merge into place and change lanes. Just because I speed, doesn't mean I'm a a-hole driver.
