Yuck.

Where did you have it? Lobster done right is so tender and delish. Did you have drawn garlic butter with it, too? Was it a lobster tail you had?

It was a catered event in rather posh hotel - so I don't doubt they know how to cook it. May be I'm just not seafood kind of guy.

Not that I buy them anywhere, but why? They are all government inspected, aren't they?

Where do you buy your live lobster and crab in Kelowna?

We seldom buy fresh lobster or crab here, if we do, it's at a fish market,...........we usually wait until we are at the Coast and buy it fresh, usually caught just awhile before we buy.........more money but wayyyy worth it.........

I had prime rib at the Urban Fare in the Mission park mall.
They have a dining area there. Daily specials....can't remember
which day has the prime rib. They also have live music on the weekends
to enjoy and they serve beer and wine!!!!

Getting lobster from the coast doesn't help either as the lobster comes from the Atlantic not the Pacific. The time spent from ship to store on atlantic lobster is around 7 days, regardless of where the store is, unless you live on the Atlantic.

10/10 on the post above. I was reading through some of these having a good laugh, especially the lobster caught off our coast....to be fair, I guess the poster said they like to go to "the coast" to get their fresh lobster and crab....they didn't mention which coast :dyinglaughing:
