I really just wanted to bitch, I work downtown and there is this Chachi looking mofo cruising around in his new charger, not even an older cool one and he's burning out and doing laps and he looks to be in his 30's, time to grow up and get a life, the downtown area is not for drag racing and pealing out. So there! lol

That or they are trying to enjoy their car that they either A: paid a lot of money for or B: put loads of time into. or a combo of both

I have friends who spend a lot of time and effort being proficient with firearms and a lot of money into the acquisition and maintenance of them. They use the facilities at the gun club. If somebody has a car they've spent a lot of time and/or money into souping up - there's racetracks they can rent.... failing that, they should not be behaving like idiots on the roadways.

Every single time I hear someone revving their engine or peeling away from a light I don't think to myself "man that guy is cool!" I usually think about what an insecure jack hole they must be and I doubt I'm alone.

My point being I can't see why anyone would want to voluntarily make themselves look like a tool.

Arguing with you people is fruitless but regardless, when i had my car i had no problems with insecurity or the like. Plain and simple it just felt amazing to put my foot down every now and again. Everybody is different i suppose.

Nope, sold it to buy a truck as a truck is more useful for around my house. as well i was done modifying the car to my taste and decided to move on.
Planning on getting another one or similar this year :)
