I hope so.

So you're saying she isn't original either?

That video you link to was mildly entertaining at least.

Everybody borrows on what is already out there, there is very little under the sun that is honest-to-god new. So, it isn't that she isn't original so much as I simply recognized the style.

*edited to add: a lot of jennymarbles is pretty cute, other stuff is just godawful. It's not an easy schtick, not by any means, you have to be gutsy to do comedy on video. Give her (O-factor) a chance, she has just started this Castanet gig, I think. Give her time to find her groove.

Jenny Marbles is somewhat funny. This girl isn't. Also, Jenny is hot. This girl looks like a product of unholy love between a giraffe and a blowfish.

Yes because a video with some twit telling us that we're going to get an extra special meal if we don't tip is the height of civility...

This 12 year old thinks she has a relevant point of view but each point she tries to demsonstrate is either offensive, obsolete, or irrelevant. Shame on Castanet for letting her continue, Im all for getting ratings but they are devaluing their site for putting this garbage on there, bring in someone new immediately
Agreed but get used to it have you listened to local radio or watched the helium lady on CHBC weather I think she is on the radio as well catering to teeny boppers.
Castanet and local media pay nothing and get the same in return if any of them actually hired a professional they may stand a chance of being successful instead of watching the ratings fall and losing listeners and viewers to out of the area sources !

I have read a few comments and agree that this Olivia should be fired from any job she is in with that attitude and it is a blenish on casta net to publish anything from her that conveys this kind of bad**** attitude.

I was a server and a bartender for over 20 years and if I ever had a girl like this on my shift I would have her fired. People go out to eat, socialize and have fun. You are their server, the one who is there to make sure they get what they want and enjoy the time they spend in your place.

If I ever thought my tip was manditory, I would have been mistaken. I earned a wage! I could make or break my money by being nice or not. A tip is not manditory! A tip is for the very best service someone could have. I have been to many places that only employ 'tarts' like this little girl and we do not go back. They make you feel like you are there for them!!! Not so sweet cheeks!!! I go out and see a menu,,,,,, you take my order,,, someone other than you cooks my meal,,, most likely someone else brings it to me , someone else pours my drinks,,,,, and YOU expect a big tip......

Seriously, if you make eye contact, and are nice and get the order right, I tip and I tip well. If your service is sub-par, your tip reflects what 'you' did or did not do' for me.

A tip is not always coming your way. A tip is earned and if you did not get one, well you earned that too.. Smarten up, grow up and if I ever thought you told the kitchen to 'do something' to my meal, I would do everything in my power to have that place closed or you fired,,, that is not acceptible!!!!

There is zero room for a server like you. Please go work somewhere that will adjust that over- inflated ego you seen to have..

You serve!!! That is your job.... If you do not like your wage, then go get an education and change it up..... I left serving when I moved to BC because they all seemed to want the 'fresh blood' and left experience in the garbage. So sad because the older gals are the ones who were taught how to work. A tip was earned, not expected.

I bought 2 houses with the tips I made over 20 years. My wage was $1.28 an hour when I started and I learned what I needed to do to make service good.... They don't do that anymore... so sad...

Yup. If you're going to be a twit on the Net, you're going to be subject to scrutiny whether you want it or not.

If she's "living in Edmonton", she might be further ahead and stay out there, bugger city to blend in. I don't think too many will forget her here. Although that does explain her customer service attitude...
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

Let me be clear here, I have no problem with scrutiny, but hey, I think you all know what is over-the-top and what isn't, right? :127:

Example (I'm not picking on you, Captain Awesome, your post just happens to be a good example):

Fine:
Jenny Marbles is somewhat funny. This girl isn't. Also, Jenny is hot.

Not fine:
This girl looks like a product of unholy love between a giraffe and a blowfish.
