Seriously, your seriously asking that question and can't piece it together on your own.

Here's a hint: It has something to with allocating $ from government.

...another swing by punchy.... and another miss :dyinglaughing: Schools don't get closed because "subsidies" to big oil leave funding to keep them open in short supply ;-) Of course the notion that "Google can be your friend" doesn't come without the proviso that it can also be your enemy :spinball:

'Closing public schools' has a nice shock ring to it, an easy way to try and rally the leftist troops. It means nothing unless it is put into context. Who knows what public schools that picture is talking about. It could be in the United States, Canada or Ethopia. Here in BC, we are closing schools because there are fewer students. So easy to make a shocking statement that schools are being closed, but one has to realistically look at whether they are needed.
You cannot reason someone out of a position that they did not use reason to arrive at.

Are you saying that government should spend themselves into deficit?
Because if they are balancing their budget then any $ going to A is not going to B or C. If A no longer gets $ then that can go to B and C.

Read Nebula's post. Economics and Canadian government structure / areas of responsibility aren't your strongest subjects are they...

Edit to add: And whether I believe government (at whatever level) spend themselves (actually us) into deficit or not, at any point in time because of economic conditions, ....is irrelevent, just as accumulated debt has reached a point where it has become largely irrelevent too.

I do, unless others refuse to provide there proof. Please old wise one show me the error of my ways and explain to me your understanding of economics and government in Canada. If your afraid of public embarrassment feel free to PM it.

no you don't.
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those who vote for a living.

Odd isn't it LOL. We have someone here who makes wild and unsupported assertions in a whole bunch of threads, then expects others to prove him/her right or wrong "first". Must be some sort of new lazy kids game ;-) Seems familiar in some strange way.

Well, we could start we some simple and basic errors, like the use of there instead of their, or your instead of you're or you are... ;-) Let me know when you have that absorbed, then we can move to the next level :spinball:

I really don't care what mood you are in. Just stop fabricating everything, then trying to cover it up by saying that others are supposed to support their remarks. Everyone can see right through what you are doing.
