Is your irrigation system on yet?
I haven't turned mine on yet. I just charged the lines last wek actually. I will likely turn on the drip lines soon, and do the lawn about once a week or even once every two weeks depending on rainfall.
Since the days and nights are still relatively cool and the rains not that long gone, I don't think the plants need that much water yet.
I see people watering their lawns daily already though!!!
What is your practice for spring lawn and garden watering?

Management turned it on about the 12th. I get UI free as it does the common area which is adjacent to my property. Finally convinced them to set it for every other day and early in the morning ... 3 a.m. is good.
Next door neighbour begins watering her lawn starting April 1st. Her lawn is maybe 10' x 10' and she waters it from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. or later every day.

Ours is charged but we haven't used it yet. No need. The grass is greening and the plants are growing!

Got the guy who does the irrigation to show me the clock so I can shut it off if/when we get rain. He has no problem with me shutting it off.

last year we started watering too early, grass didn't root that well and by Fall looked sparse in places. Done a bit of hand watering but the dew is heavy here so haven't turned on the system yet.

I only water this time of year if it gets dry. Like normaM says the roots need to develop.

yea, we have lovely green grass so weak the back looks bad now. So it can get tough! Did use winter fertilizer, that stuff is great

I water when needed in the spring and it's been bone dry under my trees so they've been soaked twice now.
I've over-seeded to thicken up the lawn in a few places so those areas get sprinkled for a couple minutes a few times a day.

Definitely have to start watering now - don't have an "irrigation system" though. Hoses and sprinklers at my house.
I haven't failed until I quit.
