Looking for a large tree branch

Postby crysmom » Mar 22nd, 2012, 11:04 pm

I'm looking for anyone local here planning on pruning their apple or cherry or plum tree in the next little while. Preferably one that hasn't been sprayed with pesticides in many years. I'm looking for a branch prefer one that has a couple y's in it I want to use it to make a play tree for my parrot.

up to 5 feet long between 1/2 inch and 3 inches in diamer type of thing. I'd be happy to come cut it if you have a tree I could use.

send me a pm thanks in advance

Does it have to be a branch from a fruit tree ?
I've got a huge pile of branches that are going to be either burned or chipped in the next few weeks....some very cool curly willow, white birtch, london plane, etc
PM me if you want to take a look

I am also looking for some tree branches, preferably from Apple, Willow, Alder, Elder, Birch, Beech, and Maple trees. I am also looking to use them for Bird use so untreated/unsprayed is greatly appreciated.

I'm taking out some birch and poplar this afternoon. If I find something that looks good I'll put it aside.

I've got HUGE maple trees that could stand a haircut. Am not in Kelowna though. PM me if you feel like a drive east some sunny day.

This one blew down last week. A little dry but doesn't seem too rotted. It is about 6ft long and 4 inches thick at the base with the side branches only about 2 inches wide at their ends.

pm me if anyone is still looking to pick one up. There are no shortage of branches out here :sunshine:
