Where has all the music gone?

Postby StraitTalk » May 1st, 2012, 12:21 am

Simply not enough new album threads. Come on folks, what are you excited to hear?

Beach House's "Bloom" is on the horizon and with sounds like this I could ask for no more beautiful music at this point in my life.

Anyone else excited about something that's come out this year? Coming out soon? Woodenhead, I know you're out there, chime in!

Jack White's Blunderbuss and the Black Keys are on rotation at my house. I'm looking forward to the new Tenacious D.

Before everything became downloadable or easy to steal , it was exciting , waiting for a new CD to hit the record store . Now it's uneventful .
And most new groups are just mixed up members from old groups .

A buddy of mine is seeing Jack White pretty soon, I was gonna go but saw Coldplay so I will hold back for a while for my wallets sake. Both those albums are very good, love blasting them in the car.

Aren't the sons of the Beatles doing something?
Interested in how that will go.

Releasing yet another Beatles album.

Same songs as the last one, but songs are in a different order.

I was pumped for the new release from a reunited Big Wreck, which came out last month. Ian Thornley is a major league talent, and did not disappoint. I am equally stoked for the new Silversun Pickups record.
Do you know what they do to grammar police in grammar prison? It's not pretty.

I've been visiting Mp3.com since it went legit and been getting plenty of interesting free music from there. I highly suggest it.
Despite the cost of living ever notice how popular it remains?

If you're a fan of Prog rock or are open to some different music, The Mars Volta have a truly amazing sound and released a new album recently.
