Its unfortunate that they need to make a re-enactment movie like this to get people to smarten up...
I agree they need better education like this. Europe seems to always be a step ahead....

And the problem is that movies like this are shown all over the world and yet I still see it everyday in Kelowna. I have no problem with someone sending a quick message when stopped at a light (not sure why the law does), but while you're driving a 2 ton machine down the road is just sheer idiocy.

When they die in an accident, it usually stops them.

Which part was the funniest for you ?
Be careful ... karma is a bi .... you will not laugh when it happens to you or your loved ones.

The hyper-dramatization and visual effects.

Don't get me wrong, i understand the message, it's just the media in which the message is conveyed that makes me chuckle.

I don't believe in karma but i do believe that if you do something stupid or irresponsible you WILL pay the consequences at one point or another. As for if it were me or my family, i would still probably laugh. My brother rolled his car because he was driving too fast for his cars capabilities and his own lack of skill so i laughed at him. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at things) he wasn't really hurt in the "accident" which has done nothing to dissuade him from his speeding habits.

Edit: apparently it looks like i'm implying that i never speed, this is not true.

Tell us, would have have still have laughed had he been killed or paralysed, or if he had rolled into another car killing or seriously injuring the innocent people in it, or if he had rolled into a yard full of kids!!!

Melodrama or not, the message was serious, and should be treated that way.
Also driving a car is a serious business, it is essential a weapon in the wrong hands.
Using any hand held device has been illegal in a lot of Europe for well over a decade, and carries a lot more of a penalty if caught, than it does here.
If you kill someone whilst driving on the phone you can be facing murder charges!
