I must say, Manhunter is way better. Absolutely fantastic movie.

We watched the original Conan the Barbarian movie on netflix the other day.

WOW! Great movie. Shot entirely in Spain, the market scenes blew me away, more real in 1962 than anything we see today. The guy shagging the llama? Seriously? Even the special effects were great, and I even saw elements of Star Wars, "you are my son Conan" NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

If you haven't seen it for a while, or ever, I recommend it.

I liked Skyfall - thought it was the best Daniel Craig Bond film yet.

Yup, we just watched the 1 and half hour pilot. Excellent show. Fine tension. Everyone's got secrets. And someone knew about where the gold heart was buried. To whom did that arm belong?

Just starting into that myself. I love the way it sort of hovers on the brink of seriousness.

I brought home a copy of "Memento" for later. Haven't heard a lot about it other than it's had some excellent reviews. I spotted it at Futureshop in a steelbox case, I think they're so cool they just have to make the movie better. I'll let you know.

"Damn fine cup of coffee."

I have a friend who says that all the time. Never made the connection.

My daughter and I am. I'm also looking forward to Life of Pi. It looks stunning in the previews. I haven't read the book yet.
