Unemployed? Who cares?

Post by dogspoiler »

I have neard that there are a few people in B.C. looking for work. Keep looking. Our scumbag politicians are giving permits to 200 chinese to come and work here. Maybe we should bring a few more and give them the politicians jobs.

Be careful what you wish for... :runforlife:
I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

there is always a camp job in alberta if you are in need and it will pay great.

That information should be recorded somewhere and those people shoulod be refused any unemployment insurance. Possibly they should evfen be refused welfare assistance. It is time people took some responsability for their lives.
Consider how hard it is to change yourself and you'll understand what little chance you have of changing others.

any construction guys for example .. i cant hardly blame em either .. wages r low anyone smarter than a hammer can figure out how to make more without a job .

wages need to catch up to costs of living for that to change , look forward to foreign workers real soon if it keeps up the way it is now .

gotta pay people if u want em to stay longer than a few hrs ,

i mean theres alberta and sask at our doorstep the north is booming as well , plus all the dope shows , alot r legal now too .

there is no reason for a good hand to stay here unless he is the guy getting all the work then maybe if hes good enuff he can make a good living here .

its just a tuff place to give a hoot i guess . so many have so much and the little guy is left with alot of bills just to get by .
so thats why alot of ppl do not care to work in kelowna and they tend to be no shows and compos because that is the society u breed when everyone is trying to make it off the backs of there hard up employees.

If the govwrnment had any smarts they would tell those who could work that there are these jobs and pay will cease till they prove they took a stab at it,,, but there is that human rights thing in the way, once on it seems we cant make em work anymore so give the jobs away to the mexicans and chinese and keep paying our recipients to stay home.

Makes me sick. Whats more it makes me sick that our fellow Canadian thinks its ok to live on the wages of a Fresh Air inspector. I could never. I need freedom to buy things I like and pay my bills on time and have a few bucks left over to do something completely off the wall, how do these people do it? Right pan handling for extras...

Well it looks like the temporary worker scam is headed to the courts. It will take a while, I hope we get some job protection for Canadians.

Mine site using 'temps' shuts down
by The Canadian Press - Story: 83704
Nov 24, 2012 / 1:59 pm

One of the companies behind a plan to bring Chinese workers to a coal mine in B.C. has shut down a separate project due to a legal challenge over foreign worker permits.

Canadian Dehua International Mines Group is among a pair of companies fighting a court battle to bring 200 Chinese miners to the proposed Murray River underground coal mine near Tumbler Ridge, B.C.

Dehua has issued a statement that says it is stopping work at another proposed mine near Tumbler Ridge, known as the Wapiti River project, after investors raised concerns about the Murray River court challenge.

The company's statement says investors have expressed reluctance to fund the project, and work will not resume unless new investors can be found.

The plan to bring Chinese workers to the Murray River mine, owned by HD Mining, has prompted unions to file a lawsuit and the federal government to conduct a review of the entire temporary foreign worker program.

The Federal Court gave the unions the OK last week to proceed with the lawsuit, but HD Mining has said it will file of appeal to challenge the union's legal standing.

Have you seen the seats at the house of commons lately? Your comment on that one came a little late!
