It's that time of year again...

Post by gloryniights »

Where everyone forgets how to drive in that crazy white stuff that falls from the sky.

It's only been snowing for what, two days? And barely at that. Yet tonight on my drive home, some inexperienced driver tried to blow past me on the highway and lost control of his truck, spinning it around and crashing into the meridian. It ended up being a minor fender-bender in the end but still.. the ground is wet, hydroplaning happens even if it's not that slushy or icy... if there had been any other cars around it could have been a lot worse.

Wishing everyone a safe winter!

Similar thing as i was coming up Boucherie just now, the road is slick and has a layer of snow so the truck driver decides he wants to blow past the guy in front and as he does the back end kicks out the truck was weaving all over the road and he still makes the pass and then speeds off up the hill. Luckily in this case no accident but with drivers like this its only a matter of time.
