Okay - I was just wondering how I would know if I saw an illegal one ... so I could report it.

I am "illegal link/site" challenged.

GF, here's a few easy ways to know if a site is providing links to pirated copyright movies...

Virtually any site that:
- gives access to movies that are still in theatres
- gives access to new releases for free
- has movies with subtitles in foreign languages that are embedded in the video
- allows you to download a copy of the movie (most, but not all, legitimate sites allowing streaming only. And if you're getting this movie for free, you can be assured with almost 100% certainty that it was pirated)

...is likely providing access to a pirated movie.

Other than point #1 "Gives access to movies that are still in theaters", your list is bad.

There are many "same as retail" release sites out there that are 100% legit.

Depends.

As I stated in the post that was deleted that was inquiring about this post being deleted.... Shaw's service is "free" as long as you have cable/internet with them already, then it is included in the price of your services and it's a superior service to the majority of what people are talking about there.

Well I am frustrated as heck! I went to netflix and to a site where I was able to view their entire selection, I was not impressed, at least compared to graboid and movie25.com, it really sucked. So I called this number above as you suggested, and yes it takes you to itshd.com and they said they have nothing to do with movie25.com which is the site I really want, but there seems to be no way to contact them which I do not like. Their selection in movies is terrific! The itshd.com said they don't have any new movies at all and they never even heard of movie25, yet that is where it takes you when you go to sign up for movie25.com So I am really confused. The lady at 877-801-9065 was not helpful and even kinda rude. I really want this movie25.com site, but am scared to sign up when It appears I have to do it via itshd.com I hope this made sense.

On the movie25.com site are you unable to watch the movies right now and that is why you want to sign up?

Binky, I also don't like most of the movie selection on Netflix and am having better luck with watching episodic tv shows.

Whatever site you find, I sure hope it doesn't yank you over to porn options. We tried one and gave up, getting porn messages over and over.

This is why, sometimes, certain "illegal" sites are actually better than the legal ones. (referring to binky's frustrations) It's too bad - the "good guys" could really learn some tricks from the "bad guys" in this case. There isn't a movie I can't get my hands on, online, easily. (well 99% of the time)
