Superstore closed

Post by JagXKR »

A vehicle hit a power transformer and knocked out the power to Supertstore all the way down to Sleep Country. Don't know about the TD Bank but all the others have no power. Crews working on replacing transformer.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Looks like another case of thinking the gas was the brake? Sure seems to be a lot of those lately.

Better hope the damage is repairable because a transformer like that one is 50k plus and a special build order taking 2 or 3 months easily. Definately not an on the shelf item. Looks like the protective bollards took most of the impact.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

it was most likely the switch that was hit. the transformer has bollards around it for just that reason

You are right. Looks like it was the switchgear that was hit, not the transformer. Bad intial info. Also looks like it may have been a medical issue that caused the crash but not certain.
