Can you pick one up one for cheap at Salvation Army type place?
Sarcasm is like a good game of chess. Most people don't know how to play chess.

Shoppers Home Health Care in Capri Centre Mall can help you out. They are not inside the mall, but facing onto Gordon Drive, between Extra Foods and Winners.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.

Try Creative Mobility 250-860-7331. If they can't help you then maybe they will be able to steer you in the right direction. Or one of the Retirement homes like Westwood. Or even Cottonwoods or the hospital. Good luck

They are very helpful with other assistance he may need, as well.
Like a shower chair or wheel chair.
