Target isn't coming to this Zellers...There is a For Lease sign up now....
I think they should have a small mall of sorts...Maybe try and get the places on Main St and Dobbin to move in...Get them off the highway and all under one roof...I know I prefer shopping indoors and not having to walk outside to get to the next store...
I think it would be nice to get rid of everything on Main St and Dobbin..Just my opinion...

Yeah that would be nice, move all the businesses off city land.

A bowling alley/entertainment center with a restaurant, lots of parking and easy access off the highway and nothing else similar until pretty much Penticton. Just a thought.

Rumor has it, Costco is going in. Taking over both zellers and extra foods, so they have enough parking. This was from an inside source.

They don't usually build stores that close together with the population we have, but you never know.

Nothing on Costco's web site showing any new stores being opened in Canada in the first few months of 2013.

The Costco rumor is 100% false. End of story.

Too bad . I love going to Costco . But there is no parking. And it's too busy. So I tend to give my business to walmart.

There's plenty of parking when I've gone there. Maybe go earlier.

Everything comes from China nowadays, Canadian Superstore? Canadian Tire? what a joke.
Anyway, everybody knows that Ikea is opening in that building.

Know that's not happening. Can think of better stores.

Ikea needs far too large of a market to open. The Okanagan is too small by at least two thirds. Check the Ikea locations and you'll not find any where the metro area isn't at least a million people. The OK is about 350K. Don't get me wrong, I'd be thrilled to not have to drive over the killer Coq to get to an Ikea but it's not going to happen here.
