Did "Django Unchained" for cheap night tonight. A full helping of Tarantino with a side of Peckinpah.

Geared for the same demographic as Twilight films, so that explains the success.

Two different movies - lots of old folks into the vampire genre - don't diss the Twihards.

Fact remains, that the majority of fans for both film series are teenie boppers and the films are terrible.

I'm "old" and love vampires. Loved Blade, Underworld, etc... but real vampires don't effing shine like diamonds in the sunlight.

This is what happens when you let a Mormon housewife rewrite the vampire genre.

So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

Tarantino has a knack for pulling up old gems that fit perfectly with some particular event in the film. I watched "True Romance" for the first time last week and roared at Dennis Hopper singing along with Burl Ives in the background doing "A Little Bitty Tear". Genius.
