Speeding and tailgating? That stretch of road isn't a problem.

I'm assuming this is the accident you are referring to:

What did you have in mind for the province to do? I can think of one...take away some peoples licences!

Perhaps you should share your designs and traffic flow plans with the M.O.T.H.

Seriously????

People drive much too fast and much to close to the car ahead of them. This has nothing to do with the roads, and everything to do with bad drivers!!

problem is most idiot drivers look like anyone else til they hurt someone. They are not only idiots when they have drivers licences. it starts way before that

Drivers in Kelowna are the worst I have ever seen. I moved to Kelowna from Edmonton in Sept 2012 and drivers here are the worst. The speed limit accros the bridge is 60km/hr not 90km/hr or faster. Its no wonder insurance rates are so high.

correct i see it every day
the speed limit on the bridge should be 30km, then we could only hope everyone will then not go over 50km

i have not been in a crash in 10 yrs ... not even so much as scraped a post in over 5 .
when i was attending school in Penticton driving from Kelowna i seen accidents near daily in westbank.
the traffic would snarl because of all the crashes .
now i realize we have far to many ppl on the little hwy .
and i realize a good # of em ought to turn in the steering papers.
however none of that is gonna change any time soon .

so maybe the province or ministry of hi taxes could make some effort to look into why the accident rates r so high on that 5 mile stretch of road from the underpass to gormans mill

I'll save you the money...

people are idiots.

They tailgate and do not pay any attention to defensive driving at all.
They do not care about other drivers...it is all me, me, me...
