This is how law enforcment sees us helpless feeble pathetic childeren.

And don't forget to bring your scissors to a gun fight.

DHS needs to be disbanded, when they buy 7000 full auto AR's for DHS staff and they call them "personal defence weapons", But when you and I buy them "semi auto only" they call them "Assault Weapons" hypocrites.
Not to mention the 1.6 billion rounds of .40 cal hollow point they just bought that can not be used in war because these are killer rounds not NATO compliant.

Goatboy even you have to admit the US government is arming it's self against it's people at the same time they are working to disarm them, can you not see that ?

While I don't fully support "let's arm teachers with guns" notion, here's what a well trained security guard can do:

What I see is an escalating arms race between the US Government (or the agencies that police the US) and the criminals they're tasked to deal with. Can you not see this only getting

You seriously think that these agencies are arming themselves to deal with 99% of the population? It's this kind of paranoia that is fueling the gun control issue (On both sides though). Let sanity prevail and hopefully people will see that certain types of rifles, ammo clips and such are just not needed, that armed guards in schools in not the country they want to live in and the chances they will ever need a gun for self protection is minutely slim.

3 gun is a pretty new sport, at least to me it is.
I think I'd like to get my daughter into it as well, between you and me she's a better shot with the pistols.
I don't think any of the ranges are set up for this in our area, at least not the 2 I belong to.

Goatboy,
The Department of Homeland Security has now bought 1.6 BILLION rounds of hollow point .40 cal.
To put that amount into perspective, During the height of the Iraq war the US soldiers were using 5.5 million rounds per month.
1.6 BILLION rounds works out to fighting a 30 year war, but against who? this ammo that's illegal to use in war is not for use on crooks, unless of course you think that law abiding gun owners are criminals?
They're getting ready for something.

I suggest even IF the purchase was made, it was because there was a SALE on at K-Mart in the USA.
