Stum Lake is the only place in BC where the endangered white pelican nests, but they travel up to 164 km to gather food. I've seen them on Williams Lake, which is 50 km away. I'm going to say Chimney Lake.

Judging by the power lines in the background, I can guarantee that this picture was not taken anywhere in the Chilcotin.

The only place that I have seen White Pelicans locally is
on the pond by the Kelowna Golf and Country Club
equipment shed every summer.
