To add to my post few back, once you have a pot made add to a good thermos. Cheap coffee hot & ready all day long.

For those that have a Keurig or are looking at buying one then have a look here.

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Top-Qoal ... 00292.html

That's quite a bit better than $20. ea for the reusable filters. (we have several of these)

Not sure about dealing with a place that misspells quality

So I chose the Kurig back then when asked here and said I loved it, then later I went to Dulce and I love that one too. What's nice about the Dolce is you can buy the coffees that have the milk cups as well, basically twice the price because the box is the same size but half of the cups are milk cups, same price, anyway. It uses pressure and steam and I like that it leaves a creama on the top from the pressure I am sure. I love the different flavours like macchiato, and such. They have a very different hint of their own. So now my Kurig is in the kitchen as well as my French press, and my Dolce is in the sunroom off my bedroom so in the very early part of my day I enjoy something with a foam on top and in the day I can use the Kurig or the press.
I recently bought a nice press from Starbucks, all metal and double walled thermal as well, keeps my coffee hot a lot longer then my old glass one did and it's an 8 cup so I get a few cups of the fresh ground varieties.
I used to like coffee as it was, brewed in a drip thingy, but once I went overseas and was introduced to many other types I have become a coffee hound for more then the one sugar and one cream style you get at Timmies. My coffee is cheaper too then going out for it even tho it's not as cheap as what's in a tin of Maxwell house off the store shelf. Man I am an addict for this stuff but at least I don't do street drugs, yet, hahahahahaha.
I have given people a cup of coffee from my Dolce machine and as quick and easy as it is to do I have accidently sold people on the machine, saying "That's the best cup of java I have had in a long time" one guy hit me at the right time because I bought the newer version of the same machine and was gonna put my old one on the shelf in the basement and to shut him up I gave him my old machine, he still says he loves it and he has been using it so much he put his drip machine away finally. So far I like the Dolce the best of all my coffee makers but I am a coffee flavour nut, some like it from the old book. I have been spoiled and there's no going back for me.

And for the record. I did really like the kuerig at first... then I thought, this mass wastage of pods is obscene. Just didn't want to contribute that way

I did by the "as seen on tv" pods, where I could fill them my self, and use over and over. That made more sense.

The man who invented the K-Cup coffee pod almost 20 years ago says he regrets doing so, and he can't understand the popularity of the products that critics decry as an environmental catastrophe.

Seriously. Just stop.

Best cup of coffee in the world can be made right in your kitchen.

My Oster coffee maker is perfect. It can make one cup or 12. No harm to environment and I can suit the weakness or strong flavour to all. Oh! And super environmentally friendly.

And what brand is it exactly?
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky
