Safe Drone Fly Zones

Post by K33p3r »

with the rules that are to be followed on flying Drones in Kelowna, where are good areas to fly? 9km away from the airport and heliports, it takes you all the way out of town.

What do you mean? How about in Westside? Do you have to be near the airport to have fun?
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

it is recommended not to fly in a 9km of an airport or the like.

trying to find out what is acceptable in locations and what is not.

I don't want to get fined for illegal use.

for the past days, we have been looking at the area to see if we can see any depressions that might look like a crash.

with the snow, it is getting harder to do so.

but, we are almost resigned to the fact that it is floating down the creek.

bye bye Phantom 3 standard.

with DJI products I thought the video automatically recorded and you could review from the app. but that might just be photos that save a low res preview version. All the original files are of course on the SD card on the bird.

I know there is an app you can get that will record your screen so that is what some guys do. Got that tip from the Phantom 3 owners group on facebook...too late obviously.

I walked the path the other day and took a good look - no luck.

I've lost expensive RC stuff before it sucks. sunk a 800 boat a few years back and couldn't find it....

wish you continued good luck....

pilot error. should have realized the high power lines there. but! it didnt act up when sitting at the power substation. hovered 1 minute 10 seconds before heading out.

I checked and couldn't find anything for video on phone.

several people helped out too. all we found was the camera and a golf club.

where did you lose the boat?
what is the screen capture app?
