When are you going to get tired of lying constantly?

1. Article did not say he was a customer of the store.
2. Article did not say he purchased anything in the store.
3. Article did not say he was returning any product to the store.
4. Article did not say the product, if any, was worth $50.
5. Article did not say the product, if any, was defective.
6. Article did not say that the person was merely yelling.

So now we have SIX outright lies or distinct attempts of misinforming the reader in one sentence. Unbelievable.

I guess you dont have any sense of humour at all.

It's not as if I was half joking about the ridiculousness of the situation and the use of a helicopter to deal with a guy in a store yelling. I truly literally believe this man was returning a 50 dollar (not 45 dollar) product and was unhappy about it.

Have another cup of coffee, you obviously need it.

6. Article did not say that the person was merely yelling.

The man, who did not produce the weapon or threaten anyone, was reportedly yelling and screaming, which seemed to make customers uncomfortable,” said Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey.

So it has been established - it was not reported the man was simply yelling. He was
yelling and screaming
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

The escalation from a yell to a scream certainly warranted the helicopter.

I stand corrected. Thanks Fancy.

I'm with atamoa on this one.

Occums razor suggests the man was unsatisfied with the service and was voicing his stand point as he was let go by police.

As for yelling and screaming. Money says that's hyperbole because in my experience I often "yell", my dad often "yells" and all caps is "yelling".

I've seen a holes yelling at 15 year olds for forgetting his fries with that. *bleep* hole yes, need air support, no.
Would so rather be over educated that a knuckle dragging Neanderthal bereft of critical thought and imagination. Although in the case of Neanderthals, that's quite the insult.

Maybe, but where that argument finds criticism is the fact where we don't know.

Do you think that the RCMP would use a helicopter, immediately available or not, to address someone who is dissatisfied with their service in a store?

I doubt that was the case.

I dunno .. I'm still thinking it's because the situation presented a good training opportunity for the pilot .

But again , no big deal..

After all who *bleep* about the Snowbirds practicing maneuvers over the KYC ???

I ask myself though free rights, the guy was allowed to leave. No mention of under recognisance or mention of charges.

And you are right, I don't know all the facts. All I have to go on is my experience and human nature with the story. As it appears to me a questionable (as in question why) use of expensive police resources.

Don't give anyone any ideas....

"Ex-air force elite squad openly displaying military prowess to intimidate civilians. Remember when they broke all the windows downtown many years ago? Military intimidation to keep the public obedient! And they keep getting permission to come back to show off military power in the name of 'air shows' - city staffers are too intimidated to not let them come back."
