The rot of political correctness

The rot of political correctness

In today’s academy, truth is an invention. Expecting people to show up on time is racist. Censorship is good. Silencing opposing viewpoints imperative. Violence to enforce safety is natural.

For the last 25 years, under the guise of “political correctness,” we’ve been watching the inexplicable flow into our culture. The idiotic demands of political correctness in the 1980s, ironically relying on the decency of the American people for their acquiescence, was just the prep course, an amuse bouche before the main course of creating social chaos and destruction.

It sounds dramatic, and it is, and it’s also the only way the left maintains power — brainwashing people into believing that social norms must be destroyed in order to create a more perfect society. From the ashes would emerge the great collective phoenix.

Just ask the Soviet Union, Cambodia, Cuba and Venezuela how well that works out.

The "being on time is racist" thing reminds me of a lawsuit right now against P. Diddy or whatever he calls himself. Apparently white people were treated differently at the Rap mogul's business and black employees were never reprimanded for being late or hungover. When a white person complained about the terrible work behavior of some black employees, they were allegedly told that the white guy just "didn't understand black culture."

Apparently it was alright to come to work late, hungover and sleep most of the day in the office. That's "black culture."

Fear of truth being lost while creating “fake news”. Twisting and exaggerating the viewpoints of others to try and create your own credibility, claiming all news is fake unless it is your own news. Encouraging violence to promote “free speech”. Brainwashing people into believing that social norms must be destroyed in order to create a more perfect society. From the ashes would emerge the great collective phoenix. Get used to it. For the time being this is the world of Donald Trump.

'You are the epitome of stupid': Student rep sparks outrage after vowing to tear down a 'mural of white men' honouring those who left British universities to fight in WWI but never returned (11 Pics)

A Student Union president has sparked a furious backlash after she announced her plans to paint over a mural honouring men who were sent to fight in the First World War.
Emily Dawes of the University of Southampton took umbrage at the mural of all "white men" honouring students who were sent to war in the middle of their studies in the university's Senate room.
She said: "Mark my words - we're taking down the mural of white men... even if I have to paint it over myself."
The image depicts a row of academics from the time of the Great War, and was intended to honour unknown fallen heroes who did not get to finish their degrees because they were sent to fight in the trenches during the First World War.
The claims were made on the eve of the Royal British Legion launching its Poppy Appeal, and as the mural was unveiled by the University in its own commemorations of the war.

It is narrow minded to believe that this is the result of Donald Trump.

Do you not realize that the "Media" AKA Propagandists AKA social engineers are brain washing you into believing Donald Trump is the cause of all the havoc we see currently.

This Havoc has been here all along - the media SPIN your world for you, just like a DJ.

Donald Trump is NO different than any other president.

All of this is social engineering - if you venture out into your local world, you will soon realize it resembles nothing from TV or the news.

Excellently funny and it skewers both sides beautifully. Sadly many won't get that this is satire and he's actually taking the mickey with both sides. A bit like Colbert, but not quite. Hence the nod to the overt racism from the original Dumbo movie (the crows) and Laura Ingalls Wilder (expressed racist views) and of course also the calling out of some of the more frivolous aspects of those seeking social justice.

Satirical or not, points are dead on

This should be a good topic, maybe even in this day and age, an actual intelligent discussion, however, as already seen the very seed of this topic, the usage and manipulation it has over society, already showed its power in one response. Damn right the politicians, the rich, the media, the victimhood claiming base of society have bathed themselves with the power of PC, and now our every attempt to deal with the simplest of issue's fails because of its involvement.
In another thread going here is an article how our current PM is the world leader of the PC agenda.
