Blocking a Lane at a Storefront
Some people just call it waiting and think it's perfectly okay to do.

I did not think I'd see the day that:
1. Someone would actually out themselves for having little knowledge of their responsibilities behind the wheel.
2. Castanet would allow such a person to out themselves as being so ill informed.
Wait a second... scratch #2
The guy keeps getting the finger because what he's doing is inconsiderate. This man needs HELP.

What makes people show me the finger when I am just waiting and not doing anything? This is not the first time either. I was just waiting in front of Superstore for a friend, when an idiot out of nowhere shows me the finger and swore at me.
Please, next time someone thinks of doing this, don’t. Just stop. You are just making that person's day worse.

Total idiot. Find a parking stall and occupy it.

I find nothing quick about going to SuperStore, even having to use washroom.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

I believe he is illegally blocking the fire lane as well.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

Yep. Where is this guy from, a town in N Saskatchewan with a population of 30? He's not waiting at the Co-Op for someone to pick up the Sears Catalogue order.

"John Smith" gets called out multiple times for pulling this same *bleep* and somehow still wants our sympathy? The only thing unfortunate about this situation is that he doesn't get that he's wrong (and will surely continue doing it). Next time I see someone loitering in their vehicle in front of Superstore I might just flip them off hoping it's John...kidding! (not kidding).

Was there no driver in the vehicle?

I know you know that answer.
If there's someone in the vehicle does it excuse laziness? Is it much different than sitting in your car occupying a spot that requires a handicap permit until someone wants that spot? It's not their's to be in, period.

Whoa, and I thought I have problems in life. Geez, some people have it bad and still go through life.
You mean somebody was sitting outside of the store??? I would literally die if I witnessed it.

Laziness doesn't constitute legal/illegal.

OMG! Someone parked in front of a store! The sky is falling!
So what? Who cares? Is it that big of a deal someone actually has to make an effort to flip someone off? Are their lives that unhappy or do they feel that much more superior to all other road users? Never mind, I forgot - this is the OK Valley.

Think about it for a moment.
- It impeeds the flow of traffic.
- More importantly, it's unsafe for pedestrians. The entire storefront area is a crosswalk. A crosswalk where drivers cannot see the pedestrians due to some parked in the way.
The 1st is just super annoying. Everyone driving by is inconvenienced simply due to laziness.
The 2nd could easily result in the death of a child.
Or should I turn the tables for you? OMG! Someone is complaining on Castanet! The Sky is falling!

You can turn what ever tickles your fancy ;)
Seriously though, there's worse out there. Waiting in front of a store for someone happens all the time. Taxis do it, cops do it, people with large shopping orders do it.
I don't see it worth the effort in flipping anyone off.

Seems the guy is too lazy to score a parking stall and occupy it. Like the rest of us.
And people let him know. Now he's all people are giving me a hard time.
Unbelievable.
