Glenrosa - pros? cons?
Looking to relocate to Glenrose simply because the yards are huge and the area is a secluded but it is a bit far from everything - can you offer any advice? What are the big pros and are there any big cons? What are the schools like in the area?

you might want to take into account that it snows quite a bit more up the hill too.if you dont mind doing a lot of driving it is a good place to live

Two things, they may be out-dated and addressed over the last few years but,

Re: Glenrosa - pros? cons?
I grew up in Glenrosa and come back for three weeks every year.
Pros:
Elementary & Middle school in the area
Lots of families
friendly neighbors
Glen canyon park
Cons
High school is far away
speeders & dangerous drivers
crime
forest fire danger and only 2 ways to exit the area (and one is an old logging road in bad shape
I would stay off the main roads(webber, Mciver, glenrosa) and aim for side roads
