I visited with a friend for a bit tonight, that was good. Only, as we curl up to chat, her cat comes over and snuggles up to me. A sweet, soft and fluffy cat with jellybean toes and a giant purr. So I sighed and started petting her. My friend says "she never does that!" I let her know it was common with me, cats always know who's allergic to them.

I itch like crazy, took an antihistimine - but it was worth it.

That just reminded me of a guy that used to come into a cafe I worked in. I was a waitress. This guy used to go on and on about his grandmother being in a UFO with Elvis just flying around out there somewhere. He was serious.

Snohomish County PUD says a customer reported a bird had badly damaged a utility pole. This is what crews found when they arrived! The pole was replaced immediately.

Concussions cause brain damage - not a new idea really, but you never really understand until you have one. I still get vertigo. And I seem to have forgotten this thread existed, for months. My brain kinda just skipped over the whole "Grab Bag" forum.

LOL ferri - car accident, two years ago. Takes a long time for the brain to heal, and in some cases it might not. The biggest issue I have is the memory thing, which isn't terrible compared to other options. I know of people who still have problems with walking a straight line . . . no driving for them.

Wow. :( I'm sorry to hear that! I know concussions are not something to be waved off like we used to. We sure have advanced in the last few years as far as that goes.

It's usually a sign that fall is on the way. They have their breeding grounds in Alaska and then head for the southern states for the winter.

The Geese were flying in formation today as well, practicing for their trip South.
