My World famous spaghetti sauce is in the pot on slow cook setting.

Sautee'd the Onions, Garlic and Gr Beef in the pot then added the rest and brought it up to temp and changed it to SC.

Will see if the Grand Kids have any complaints.

I'm looking forward to hearing about this - I haven't used the slow cook feature yet.

I've made eggs though - I can now make them hard boiled or soft boiled without issue!

It worked just fine. I don't think it gets as hot as our other slow cookers so I turned it up to extra the last couple of hours.
It was just the sauce in it so that couldn't hurt..

I've got the pressure cooker XL, much like the instant pot, but larger,it's 10 L. I've used it a lot this summer, no need to turn on the oven. Between this and the grill, we've rarely gone out to eat. BBQ baby back ribs, so good. Roast chicken, yum, cheesecake,to die for. The browning feature is handy to sear the meat first. Also, loving the Cookina sheets on the BBQ. We can make breakfast, grilled sandwiches, fried rice, etc, without dirtying extra pans.

I ordered similar sheets from my Favorite China source, cheap at a buck each and work well.

I've only used the slow cook feature once, but I wasn't as impressed with it as the cooking process was much slower than my regular crock pot.

That was kind of my take on it too. Not something I would rush to try again but ok to keep something warm.

Oh man I love my Instant Pot. On Prime Day I talked my colleague into buying one on sale and she's a happy convert too!

I cook steel cut oats in 3 minutes. I cook eggs all the time too. Soft, medium, hard boiled all perfect in the pot. Ribs. Roasts. Veggies.

I also make steamed buns in it, then stuffed them full of hoisin pork and pickles when they come out.

I got mine after reading this review by Young Meagher. I am loving my Instant Pot so far and haven't found anything bad about it.

We did a Pot Roast last night and it was awesome! Carrots were a bit overcooked so will adjust that for next time.

This week so far I've done hardboiled eggs for hubby (love being able to wander away), ribs (finished on the grill of course), and a new game changer - spaghetti squash. https://www.google.ca/search?q=instant+ ... jwPys5HQCA
