3D Printing in the Okanagan

Post by VernonMC »

Does anyone know where I can get access to a 3D printer in the Okanagan / Vernon area?
I am interested in doing some small 3d printing and don't want to spend all the money up front on a printer just to find it does not work out.

Much appreciated for the info.

These guys have an office in Kelowna

http://www.formed2fit.com/aboutus/

Not sure they would let you use the machines but it might be starting point to at least see if the equipment will meet your need

Sometimes public libraries have 3D printers, although nothing nearby.
Consumables are fairly expensive so it might not be everywhere. I noticed the link below in a search.

This is in penticton

The http://kelownarentaloffice.com/ link is still there, but I don't see any updated information since 2015 and the phone number they have on the website for Kelowna is out of service.
Anyone know if they are still in business?

Thanks for the info so far. If you know of a maker group in the Okanagan (or BC Interior) let me know.

I'll keep up the search.

Much appreciated.
