I haven't read the reasons for the judgement so not sure why there wasn't a lengthier jail sentence (I believe the maximum for at least two counts was 14 years).

I am absolutely enraged that this sick *bleep* will only serve 2 years. What a joke!!! He preyed on these young girls. Young girls who trusted and idolized him. One of whom tried to commit suicide once his betrayal was discovered. These girls will NEVER fully recover from this, their innocence and ability to trust people is forever changed.
He had over 2000 photos on his laptop. Sick twisted photos, some were of babies engaged in sex acts. Two years for this??? Our judicial system has re-victimized these girls and caused just as much or MORE pain than the original crime against them.
Once again we send the message to our young girls and young women that any form of sexual assault against them is not really that serious and they should just accept it and move on. No big deal, nothing to see here!!!

Well get more enraged, he must be released after 2/3 of his sentence. Out in 16 months, 1 year, 4 months, that is if he doesn't get out on parole, which he can apply for after serving 8 months.

As a person with kids I personally don't think any of them get long enough. I get that they are people and have family's as well.. the problem is how do you really help them ? I don't care what any one says it's not like a drug problem !

You can't just send them to rehabilitate them like drugs.

Out of respect for the form and the mods I won't get into what I think should be done or what I would do. But things need to change with our court system.

Every time I start watching a movie on dvd I have to chortle while this warning churns out:

Ok, so now we have priorities in the correct order!

I am so sorry. The correct amount of fine is $250,000.00 with incarceration of 5 years.

For starters I'd like the courts to properly call a sentence what it is.

The term "sentenced to two years" doesn't mean a thing if the accused MUST be released in 16 months.

If we want the public to see what is going on we need the courts and the media to report what the person is going to actually serve.

Many in the public are outraged at hearing "two years", and that is more than what the accused will serve. Not to mention that they can apply for parole after only 8 months (no idea the chances of gaining parole for that offense after only 8 months)

Something that should be taken into account is the fact that many victims are "damaged" for life after a sexual assault. We hear in so many sexual assault trials (especially male accuseds) that they account that their sexual deviation began after they were sexually assaulted themselves.

Anyone who is sympathizing with this sexual deviant needs to take a step back and understand he is fully responsible for preying on young girls. There is no "therapy" to bring this man back from the depths of deviancy. This guy gets his kicks from young girls and the only therapy that will be effective is the chair.
