West of Mabel Lake

Post by Drip_Torch »

Appears to be a number of lightening strikes coming to life west of Mabel Lake. 5 new dots on the map.

I flip between that one and this one:

Seems both of them are hit and miss, if only Vaisala would unleash the realtime.

Seriously? Lightning strikes? There's barely a cloud in the sky ...clearish air for first time in ages.
Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Kootenays have had 13 new lightning fires started in the past 24 hours.

I will stick my neck out here to predict that feeding horses, chickens, lamas, goats, and cattle is going to be a pricey issue this winter.

Expect meat and dairy to follow upwards.
