Is Knox Mountain open for hiking?

Itinerary for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Sept. 5:

Kelowna, British Columbia

3:15 p.m. The Prime Minister will visit the Kelowna Fire Department Fire Station 1.

Fire Station 1
2255 Enterprise Way

Notes for media:

Photo opportunity only
Media should arrive no later than 2:45 p.m.

6:00 p.m. The Prime Minister will hike Knox Mountain.

580 Knox Mountain Drive

Notes for media:

Photo opportunity only
Media should arrive no later than 5:30 p.m. in the parking lot

Media appearances

An interview with the Prime Minister will be featured on Castanet Kelowna.

An interview with the Prime Minister will air on Global Okanagan live at 5:00 p.m.

As of the current posting on the City of Kelowna website, Knox Mountain is open for cycling and hiking. The road is closed however.
When someone says they pay taxes, you know they're about to be an ******e.

It's been this way since well before the fire in Knox Mt park..... curious thing how that fire started with no vehicles, no hydro lines or lightning strikes.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.
