I lived many years in Alberta seeing that far off, looked very much different, but who knows.

Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.

Not weather or fire related, but meteor in Nelson area, apparently.

Would also like to see an update, I have a house at Idabel Lake. Last I heard the fire was 7 KM from Idabel..
The water planes were buzzing our house flying over to scoop up water from McCulloch Lake.. I believe it was 5 of them in a row!

Damn it, another fire, what part of "stay out of the back country" do people need anyways? :cuss:

Sorry, I was on my phone; unlike other webforms that allow 600k fires, Castanet only allows 256kb fires. Better let than never, I suppose...

Many of the settings for the Castanet Forums haven't been changed in a very long time. That size is rather low these days, so I've tripled it. Hopefully that helps you out now. Please get in touch with me if you ever have any requests, complaints, etc. regarding things types of things.

Freudian slip?

Or does Castanet do their part in this battle by keeping fire sizes small?

Now back to our regularly scheduled programming...

Just talked to the fire warden up there today, he said the fire hasn't grown much passed 30 Hectres.
