Oh great, now I can't get that H.R. Puff n' Stuff (Geez I wonder what that stood for) out of my head.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

How come nobody mentioned guys wearing platform shoes and blown-dried "feathered" hair? Who the hell told them that looked good?
You mean to say blown dried feathered hair is out of style? Oh Oh, I gotta go see my stylist.

Easy there; you're stomping on my history. I had feathered hair and used a blow dryer....and I freakin' rocked it!

lol....seems so. I was born in '61 and I remember almost all of this stuff...even owned a ton of it.
Despite TT's weird thought process, this is an entertaining thread for me....just ignoring TT's odd ramblings!

Born in '64 and just a few days ago bought a GE clock radio that must be from the 70's or early 80's at any rate.
It has that fake wood finish and green tone for digital lights.
Built like a tank.
Excellent quality sound.
And is likely highly collectible by now.
For the $6 bux I spent on it in the thrift store, it beats any of the $20 plus peices of junk in any electronic department today.
And will likely out last them.

Weirdest thing about the 70s. A razor company actually advertising their razors:

Dance as if no one's watching, sing as if no one's listening, and live everyday as if it were your last.
Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain.

Hahaha! I'm a '63 vintage. Just so happens my house radio that I'm listening to as I type,
I got when I was 12 or 13.
A Sears Electronics stereo clock radio, cheezy plastic wood finish.
The clock and alarm quite working @30 yrs. ago.
Radio is still perfect, well, as long as you don't try to do anything
stupid, like, change the channel, volume or balance.
My Mom threw it away, I saved it, my wife threw it away, I saved it,
my kidlet tossed it, I saved it.
