PC - political correctness. The judges were ready to go, and the Liberals (Trudeau Liberals) put a stop to the whole hiring process and forced their PC garbage on the judiciary. This is why gangsters are going free. And as usual, the Airhead PM apologists refuse to acknowledge where the blame lies. Such massive cowards.

Yeah, fer sure. Why haven't the NDP fixed this problem of backlogged courts yet? They've been in power for a couple of months. That should be plenty of time to re-open the courthouses that Christy and the Liberals shut down and sold off. And lots of time to appoint dozens of prosecutors who would clean up this mess. LOL - still blaming previous governments which is just wrong.

While there are arguably more efficient processes yet to be found, our Courts are backed up mainly because of ideological approaches to funding public services (by guys with genitals). Watching offenders walk free as a result of lack of due process was something people in the system saw coming years ago and warned about it. Yup, just saving money all over the place.

I have a friend who is a witness. The last court trial date they attended court here in Kelowna, only to have it adjourned as there was no court room. Wait, do Judges not know how many court rooms they have available for a given date? Could a program on a computer maybe be utilized?

The other thing is prosecutes come from Vancouver to take care of matters? We have no competent Law Firms here? Not sure what\s up but Regina Saskatchewan seems to be able to prosecute butt heads, I think the Judges here have to be put in place they are not GOD. They must not like to work Monday to Friday.
