It's obvious that the orchard is less safe than downtown because someone died in the orchard? I guess hospitals and seniors residences are more dangerous too then since people die in those buildings. Obvious right?

I took the mention of foot traffic and homeless persons in the area to mean that someone likely saw something, if she perished so close to the roadway.

But some of us have a favourite topic on these boards, and will twist every news story we can to fit that so we can about it.

Seriously folks??? This is what really matters in your life?? My God whether she was homeless, wealthy, student, housewife, mother, middle class worker, what frigging difference does it make? She died!! Why do people need to label everything. Simply accept the unfortunate fact that a human being has died. How you label it isn't going to change a damn thing except maybe justify your judgement of the person.

Kelowna RCMP are in the midst of a murder investigation.

RCMP have now confirmed a woman whose body was discovered in an orchard on Cooper Road Wednesday was the victim of foul play.
