I hope this guy will be okay. So sad. (That title is not mine.)

My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

Today, I went for a walk in the sun.
A crow flies over and drops a walnut on the road. They like to have cars crush the shell for them.
I detest crows.
Picked up walnut and went home.

Sufficiently advanced incompetence is indistinguishable from malice. There’s a certain point at which ignorance becomes malice, at which there is simply no way to become THAT ignorant except deliberately and maliciously.

Today I found my nutcracker, broke it open, and it was absolutely fresh and delicious.
Just wish I could locate exactly where crow obtained it as I would gladly pay for fresh walnuts.
For the record, this is the very first time I benefitted from a damn crow!!

There are plenty of FREE walnuts to be had, around town and on some rural properties. They are very abundant. I used to soak, salt, and roast them in the oven, and freeze them for preservation. With a little research, you can re-roast them over an open fire (like your fireplace) at Christmas time. The smell great, even if you don't eat them.
I think that there are plenty in City Park (not sure), I do know there are a lot of Hazel Nuts there and Acorns for your xmas decorations.
