Oddly enough I think Donald Trump is exactly what the US needed. They have been humbled by the fact this ongoing embarrassment is who they elected. Trump has demonstrated with no uncertainty that half the country easily fooled.

The US is 'walking down a very dark path' under Trump

Washington (CNN) Former Vice President Joe Biden offered a scathing indictment of Donald Trump and his administration Thursday night, suggesting the President is leading the US "down a very dark path" of geopolitical decline.

"We really worry that we're walking down a very dark path. It's not alarmist. We're walking down a very dark path that isolates the United States on the world stage and, as a consequence, endangers -- not strengthens -- endangers American interests and the American people," Biden said.

The first round of charges in special counsel Robert Mueller's ongoing investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. election were approved Friday — but it's still not known what they are or who they target.

A federal grand jury in Washington, D.C., approved the charges, CNN reported Friday, citing sources briefed in the matter.

The network said plans were being made to take anyone charged into custody on Monday.

But with the charges still sealed under orders from a federal judge, it's impossible to know who might be involved.

CNN said a spokesman for Mueller's office declined to comment

Interesting that the main dumb dumb that started the US on a very dark path of geopolitical decline and was one of the biggest causes of Trump being elected is now crying about Trump's administration. Look inward at your own culpability Joe, you bonehead.

So how can they trust anything from someone who has already admitted to lying to the FBI?

Not much of a surprise here, when you consider that the investigators had told Manafort some time ago that he was going to be indicted.

What a baby. The Uranium Sale happened long before the election, and involved many people, not just Clinton. It is a completely unrelated incident that the president is using to try and deflect from the very real illegal collusion that got him elected.

White House wasting no time in distancing themselves from Papadopoulos. Apparently he is cooperating with the authorities, so this could prove to be more interesting than Manafort.
