I really hope that's a typo and not $12,000 because if it is you got robbed. :200:

I had to do a run to Clinton and back yesterday.
Kamloops - $1.38 - $1.39
Savona - Super Save - $1.23 (I have a receipt to prove it)
Savona - Big Sky $1.26
Cache Creek - $1.38
Clinton - $1.38

Why is it that every time gas prices rise someone feels the need to post a letter on Castanet? Prices are going to increase, deal with it. If you can't afford a few extra dollars for gas maybe owning a vehicle isn't in your budget. Take the bus or walk.

The real joke is that; there is a lack of ridership to make it worthwhile to run bus routes with 3/4 empty buses.

The problem is the buses don't run when working people need them, that's why the ridership is poor, they cater to students and shopping.

I filled up last night at the Canadian Tire gas station for 1.29/L

Went to 60.00 for a full tank.

Ssssshhhhh we're trying to keep it quiet. It's been low here the whole time. $1.34.9 in Penticton 15 minutes ago, but still $1.28.9 here in Summerland.

It was $1.23.9 at the Centrex in Trout Creek on the 10th, but they were getting rid of gas to replace the tanks, could only squeeze $28 in.

On another forum a Summerland resident claimed they paid $1.13 on the 12th but the gas station ran out of gas quickly, they didn't name the station but i somehow didn't believe it, they said it wasn't a typo they really paid 1.13 ??

January 2, 2008—The day after New Years saw crude oil prices at a record $100 per barrel, with regular unleaded fuel costing an average of $3.05 per gallon

That's roughly 80 cents per litre for fuel in Canadian dollars before taxes yet we paid about 1.45 per litre...

Fast forward to 2017 and its currently just past 50 dollars a barrel and we're paying 1.39 per litre.....
