Snowshoes are on sale at Canadian Tire starting tomorrow and Costco sells them. You'll probably get good deals anywhere this time of year.

Wow, this just brought back memories of something I hadn’t thought of for decades......we always used to ski with a wineskin.

On the bright side, snow makes my daughter giddy. She can be quite moody, but when it snows she walks around with a grin, it just makes her happy.

From my many years of experience......"typical female". AND that doesn't matter if it is Mom, girlfriend, wife, sister, roommate, neighbour.

At least, when dealing with a Grizzly Bear, one has a pretty good idea what is going to happen next, and be prepared for it.

I'm surprised I'm not reading more from peeps cursing the city for their street not being clear dry asphalt.
I also note that there's not many extolling the sufficient quality of their all season tires.

A snowfall is like wood, it warms you twice. Once when you shovel It, and once more when you shovel it again.

Why bother complaining, they appear to be deaf. Just get a good set winter tires.... added later & common sense on road conditions.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Wood actually keeps you warm 3 times. (I was wondering when I would ever use granddad's saying)
It keeps you warm when you cut it.
It keeps you warm when you split it.
And it keeps you warm when you burn it.
