The World's Oldest Marxist Dictator Just Got Overthrown?

Post by Glacier »

In what reports indicate is a military coup despite denials by the opposition, Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, the world's oldest political leader at 93-years-old, is now reportedly "confined to his house" as the military has surrounded Mugabe's home and taken control of the streets of the capital city, Harare.

This is interesting all right. Mugabe tried to hand power off to his proxy, his wife. The other corrupt insiders didn't like that, as they see it's their turn to rape and pillage the treasury. Interesting that the head of the army was just in China last week. He probably was given the directive by Zim's Chinese overlords to keep the status quo in place, and allow the Chinese to keep stealing all of the resources.

Sounds plausible to me, GB. Maybe in a few years the truth will come out but people are to busy now with protesting everything to care about Zimbabwe.
Why use a big word when a diminutive one will suffice.
