An Apology

Over the past few years I've noticed myself becoming increasingly obsessed with news & politics. Typically I try to keep my opinions to myself, especially here on the forums where I've made friends, but recently I've become more vocal and for that I'd like to apologize. Politics are turning me into a jerk, and I hate to see that nastiness in myself. That's not who I am. I've made a few friends here on the forums over the years and it seems it only takes a few keystrokes to take that away. If I was rude to anyone, I'm sorry.

I'm going to take a break from news & politics, including the forums. I've become so caught up in the media, I think I'd be good for me to step outside and away from it all. I'll still occasionally post in the weather thread and check messages but I thought I'd post this in case you don't see me around much.
