Since he really doesn't do anything, he doesn't offend anyone and therefore the people who actually go out and vote will reelect him. Its kinda like no one moves no one gets hurt.

I'm confused... Does this disqualify you from running for office? I don't believe that's anywhere in the LGA

The business and developers will make sure he gets back in. The only wrinkle for him may be the new provincial law that limits contributions. I remember last time he spent about $80,000 to get elected.

Suit yerself. But what you call lieing some call "story telling". In some countries story tellers are revered.

Jus sayin.

Anyone care to make a wager on this ?

Does anyone even know for sure he's going for re-election? Maybe he's had enough of the sniffling and whining and wants someone else (i.e. a sniffler and whiner) to take a run at it ...

He has his issues that I don't like for sure, but overall, if I were a "betting man," I'm going to say he's got a better than 80% chance of winning re-election. :)

The one I am hoping does not win re-election would be Gail Given. :)

For our man/child Kelowna mayor to get elected again depends on who will also run for the position. Rest assured there is nobody currently on city council that is remotely interested or who can afford to take time out of their lives for the position. Everyone on council like their "little" monthly bonus cheques for doing mostly nothing other than a few meetings and never, ever making a comment to the media for ANYTHING serious in this city.........."hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil".........just pass GO and collect $27,000 mostly tax free a year.

Did hear a name about a possible run for mayor but strictly a rumor so far so will not put it out there.

And you are absolutely right about the dead-beat Gail (sympathy-vote) Givens.
