A piece of me can't wait to shut my doors and relax, but there's so much I want to do. I doubt I'll ever be idle.
I'm currently teetering on the edge of learning a new skill.
I had it down to two choices, but I think I've made a desicion.
We just don't live long enough.

We don't live long enough do we ? Us X gens are in need these days

Obviously it affects the stats as you wouldn't be in the system as looking for work.

In that regard the unemployment statistics have always been a guess at best, because they've never included those who quit looking for work either, though I'm not entirely sure how they would identify each one specifically.

I'd venture a guess that more than likely the majority of the unemployment statistics are pulled from how many are on EI or welfare, and known to be healthy enough to work.

Many probably fall between the cracks, if their EI runs out and they don't qualify for welfare for example, so they'd be out there looking for work yet not be part of the unemployment statistics.

Zero.
She needs 3 university degrees to qualify in her field.

If you''re not....OH<OH<OH...

Better rephrase that as not to trigger or offend..

If one is not the scholarly type, and it's not their path.

Find something you love to do, convince someone, or everyone to pay
oneself( :D ) to do it, and one will never have to work a day in
their lives..

Man, you make it hard to compose something meant for the general
masses so as to not be misconstrued as being personal...

Get a skill and you'll NEVER be out of work .

Huh, we have that in common... :130:

I have yet to gain employment through an application or resume in
over 20 yrs.
Gainful employment has most always found me.

Through the aforementioned 'networking" program,

I chose the Recreational Network Program, (RNP) though,
not the Corporate. Networking Program, (CNP)

Funny , huh ?

I keep my nose to the grind stone , produce quality and most importantly , GO to work ...

My last resume was made on Aug 5 2008 , faxed on the 6 th .. I interviewed on the 7th and started on the 8th...

I'm still there .

Employment finds those that want to be employed .. So does the latter . :130:
