Another go fund me, sad situation but things like this happen. $400 loss, $1000 gofundme goal. Is $1000 the minimum for a gofundme page?

It’s not a minimum. But this GFM campaign also doesn’t appear to be endorsed by Arion Therapeutic Farm, so the person starting it may not know/consider the actual loss.

The go fund me's appearing on FB every bloody day are overwhelming.
But...at least this one is something that benefits the community.

Their annual Christmas fundraiser was today, so I'm guessing that their hope is to be able to raise more than just the cash float that was stolen.

Yes everyone is on this ‘bandwagon’ these days..people that can afford a 12acre property with 3 homes on it, pool, etc. should not be asking for handouts, ie. over $1500.00 when having $400.00 stolen?.pretty sure insurance would cover their horrible loss
There are people who actually may need funds from strangers, who have lost their jobs due to illness, etc. So yeah....

I'm not certain that Arion actually owns the property it sits on, so depicting it as a wealthy person may not be correct.

I assumed that the GoFundMe was seeking more than the stolen amount in order to cover repairs, and possibly security upgrades. It sounds like you know more about this than I do though.
