And ... Thursday, December 21 is the Winter Solstice (the day we have the least hours of sunlight). Therefore, starting Friday December 22 the daylight minutes start increasing again.

Completely agree. Over the last 2 years the city has approved 8 different alley access houses along government st and I have yet to see this alley maintained yet this year. The ice ruts on here now are unreal.
